Bringing together existing works and new production specifically created for BPS22 spaces, l’avant-dernière version de la réalité will offer a perspective on an artistic process that began almost fifteen years ago.

Actor and director Gintare Parulyte received support for career development to co-direct Leave, a fascinating new personal, autobiographical play about the horrors of climate change, performed by the Berlin collective “Still Hungry”. Manager Stéphanie Baustert will also take advantage of this support for her participation in the next European Jazz Conference 2021.

Support for Participation in Fairs
And finally, despite uncertainties due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, support for participation in fairs was granted to Editions PHI to attend the Marché de la Poésie in Paris from 20 to 24 October. This funding supports organisations who attend international events to promote and raise the profile of Luxembourgish artists. Several Luxembourgish writers will attend signing sessions at the fair, including Lambert Schlechter, Yves de Smet, Jean Portante, Florient Toniello, Marc Alyn and Paul Mathieu. Sonia da Silva will also benefit from this support for a training at the School of Literary Translation in Paris

The range of support requested, and the interest shown by applicants, reinforces Kultur I lx in its objective to become one of the privileged interlocutors of the Luxembourg cultural scene to contribute to its influence.
Supporting the Luxembourgish cultural and creative sector is central to the mission of Kultur | lx. Support is provided as long as funds are available. More information here.
