It's official! C'est Karma and Francis of Delirium live at Reeperbahn Festival 2021

Following last year’s hybrid edition right in the middle of the COVID crisis, one of Europe’s most important showcase festivals for the Pop/Rock sector, Reeperbahn Festival, will take place in a (slightly) more normal form this year. With a cautious return to normality, from 22 to 25 September 2021, the Hamburg festival will once again be turned into a meeting place for music lovers and the music industry.

For this year’s edition, there are two artists confirmed for the official line-up, live and in person: C’est Karma and Francis of Delirium!

About the artists…

C’est Karma

From her third ever concert supporting Milky Chance at Rockhal, things have escalated quickly for C’est Karma, winning the Luxembourg Music Award as Best Upcoming Female Artist in 2018, one year before releasing her debut EP YELLOW. Taking the EP on tour throughout Germany supporting Latvian Indie-outfit Carnival Youth ultimately led to Karma’s signing with German manager Christoph Hallerberg (Backseat PR) and later booking agency Cabin Artists (The Strumbellas, Donovan Woods, Lisa LeBlanc, Milk & Bone) in the midst of confinement.

Being very involved politically and socially, C’est Karma believes it is her duty to use the stage to defend her ideals. She has been the subject of complimentary articles from The Line Of Best Fit, ZEITmagazin, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Wonderland Magazine and DIFFUS Magazin.

C’est Karma provides us with an intense yet subtle tune that’ll leave you stunned.” – Wonderland Magazine

Francis of Delirium

Born out of a bedroom, the project Francis of Delirium was created by solo artist Jana Bahrich (Vancouver, CA) who later invited drummer/producer, Chris Hewett (Seattle, USA) to form an indie rock band, based in Luxembourg. Uniquely synthesizing grunge and folk to create an evocative and vulnerable experience, Francis of Delirium gently guides the listener to look inward; allowing for a space that encourages growth. Francis of Delirium delivers a powerful indie rock sound that supports Jana’s high energy vocals and her genuine passion to connect with each member of the audience. With support from the likes of the BBC, KEXP, Pitchfork, Line Of Best Fit and NPR, Francis of Delirium released their second EP ‘Wading’ in April 2021 on UK-label, Dalliance Records.

“Feels like the blueprint for something grand.” – Pitchfork, 7.4 EP Review
