Luxembourgish alt-R&B artist, EDSUN, is kicking off their Summer tour in July including a performance at Colours of Ostrava on Wednesday, July 13th. A multi-genre festival with a capacity of 45.000 people, “Colours” is one of the biggest international music festivals in the Czech Republic and one of the biggest music events in Central Europe, held every summer since 2002 in Ostrava, the third biggest city in the country. Colours features 16 stages including 4 big open-air stages (the main one with a capacity of 15,000), a cinema and live discussions. This year, the festival will feature some of the biggest artists in the world like Martin Garrix, The Killers, LP, Franz Ferdinand, and Twenty One Pilots.

EDSUN developed his latest live show over a one-year period during his residency at the Rockhal and will be performing the new show abroad for the first time, including pride events in Cologne and Munich along with their two invited shows in the Czech Republic. Their Rockhal show and Summer tour align with their latest releases, “Who I Am” and “Focus,” working to give a voice to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Speaking of the new show, EDSUN says “This is a show where I will be messing with haters aka. suckers. I will be messing with ex’s aka Tony’s. And I will be messing with insecure straight guys aka. cuties. I’m putting my “#I_am_queer_black_royalty” attitude on and remodelling a broken heart into art. This show is about turning tables and showing that scars are beauty marks. Screw all the white noise and move on to the next. No shame, No filters. People like me are tired of being resilient, but we are resilient no matter what. This voyage of love, sex, fear, joie de vivre and forgiveness will be relatable to anyone who has ever felt different, judged or excluded for who they are.”
