Francis of Delirium nominated for the prestigious Music Moves Europe Awards 2022

Gen–Z–rocker Francis of Delirium has become the first Luxembourgish artist to be nominated for the prestigious European Union Prize, Music Moves Europe Awards. The awards celebrate emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and tomorrow. Every year, 8 outstanding artists receive a Music Moves Europe Award in recognition of their international success, as well as being rewarded with a performance during ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) 2022 in Groningen, The Netherlands.

On Thursday January 20, all the winners, including the Public Choice Award winner and the Grand Jury Prize winner, will be announced at the Music Moves Europe Awards ceremony. From the nominations, an international jury will award 5 artists with a cash prize of €10.000. 1 artist will be named as the Grand Jury Award-winner, take home a cash prize of €10.000, and be handed a green touring voucher worth €5.000.

During the past two years, Francis of Delirium have quickly caught world-wide attention, finding champions in the likes of Pitchfork, Stereogum, The FADER, Paste, DIY, The Line of Best Fit, Clash, 6Music, Radio 1, KEXP, NPR and more. Now working towards her debut album, the band is returning in February for another 10 headline shows in the UK before flying out to North America to play 26 dates with The Districts plus headline shows and both Shaky Knees and Treefort Festivals.
