Luxembourg will be the guest of honour at the 39th Marché de la Poésie to be held from June 8 to 12, 2022 in Paris (France).

After many postponements due to the health crisis, Luxembourg will be the guest of honour at the 39th Marché de la Poésie to be held from June 8 to 12, 2022 in Paris (France). On the occasion of the largest poetry gathering in France, Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg presents the richness and diversity of Luxembourg’s poetry on a national stand and offers a dense program of meetings, readings and events before and during the Marché de la Poésie, with the complicity and support of the Luxembourg Embassy in Paris.

The stand, designed in collaboration with Studio Polenta and Antoine Grimée, will showcase the diversity of Luxembourg’s poetry and will be a meeting place for poets, publishers, professionals and enthusiastic audiences from all walks of life during the five days of the Market.

As a peripheral event to the Market, Kultur | lx will dedicate a special evening to Anise Koltz, one of the main voices of French literature, on May 23 at the Maison de la Poésie/scène littéraire, Paris. Fábio Godinho will make the force of Anise Koltz’s writing resound, mixing readings, archives and musical creation.

The Kulturfabrik will host one of the Périphéries du Marché on May 31: Literary encounter with Carla Lucarelli, Nico Helminger, Laura Tirandaz and Franck Doyen.

Finally, Kultur | lx in collaboration with KUK – KulturKanal and radio 100,7 present a gallery of audio-visual portraits of Luxembourgish poets, to be discovered from May 20th on socials.
