From 28 April to 1 May, Kultur | lx brought together for the first time, around a booth, a Luxembourg delegation composed of artists, managers and programmers representing the Luxembourg jazz scene at jazzahead!

In the spirit of synergies between the arts, the stand, designed in collaboration with Studio Polenta and the Luxembourg illustrator, designer and graphic artist Dirk Kesseler, will showcase the diversity and creativity of Luxembourg jazz.

This presence allowed fruitful exchanges with the international jazz scene. Indeed, the various meetings, spontaneous or planned, made possible by jazzahead!, also allowed the professionals present at the fair to get to know the current and future projects of Luxembourg’s artists. These face-to-face exchanges will undoubtedly facilitate the touring prospects of Luxembourg’s artists in the years to come, which is all the more important in the wake of the Covid crisis. Moreover, jazzahead! has made it possible to promote not only the artists, but also the venues, festivals and events that contribute to the dissemination of jazz in the Grand Duchy.
