Kultur | lx has put in a place selection committee for each of the sectors supported. The members are chosen on the basis of their skills and experience in the sector in question. They are drawn from Luxembourg’s cultural sector. Nevertheless, depending on the scope and nature of the project, international experts may be invited to complete selection committees. The members are appointed and dismissed by the Board of Directors, in consultation with the associations of representatives of the cultural sector. They serve a two-year term (half the committee can have its term renewed once).
The selection committees have:
- An advisory function, offering their expertise to Kultur | lx;
- A decision-making function related to applications for one-off support of more than €10,000 and to the award of grants.
